Tour Guide

Description

You will lead interpretive tours of Indiana Caverns that are safe, fun, educational and guest focused. You'll share with guests the story of the cave, its formation, growth, discovery, development, animal life, and past inhabitants (peccary, bison, bear, fisher and other Ice Age bones). This is a full-time, summer job with wage reviews based on experience and job performance.

Positions: 7- 10
Age Requirement: 17 and older
Pay Rate:  Based on Experience


Successful candidates will be friendly, enthusiastic, articulate, responsible, safety conscious, good work ethic and be team players. Must have reliable transportation. Age 17 and older.

Tours leave frequently throughout the day. You must arrive no later than 4pm EDT on weekdays and 4:30 on Saturday and Sunday to be guaranteed a spot on the last tour of the day. The cave temperature is 56 degrees all year. Weather is never a problem.

Closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
